Victor Frankenstein is an original character by Mary Shelley. Gris Grimly illustrates the character in his graphic version of the novel. Victor is the main character, Elizabeth Lavenza's husband, Henry Clerval's bestfriend, the brothers of William and the creator of The Creature
The song we chose for Victor Frankenstein is "Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel. We believe it shows his isolation and inner turmoil.
"Nothing is more painful to the human mind, than, after the feelings have been worked up by a quick succession of events, the dead calmness of innaction and certainty which follows, and deprives the soul both of hope and fear."
We believe this quote captures Victor's emotional state throughout the novel.
